Accounting Clerk Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team at Medix. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing accurately and timely all activities and special projects assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Download and save all payment remittances for Non-commercial lab customers
  • Download and save all bank payments and correspondence documentation
  • Enter bank payments entered on logs (non-commercial lab, commercial lab customers)
  • Enter bank payments in SAP
  • Enter all commercial lab adjustments entered in SAP
  • Enter all pharma lab billings on logs
  • Mailing patient statements, welcome letters, and PIF letters
  • Download and save tax documents, including tax notices
  • Audit Logs for completeness and accuracy
  • Scan and upload mail received and use the MA&R naming convention
  • Scan checks received by mail and manage deposit to the respective bank lock box (commercial lab) or bank account (oncology business)
  • Upload the PNC mail to the finance folders using the MA&R naming convention
Requirements:
  • Community College degree in Finance or Accounting or related fields is preferred
  • Accounting experience is a plus
