Clinical Dietitian

Aramark SeniorLIFE+ is seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at our senior living facilities in Alton and Edwardsville. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing nutritional services to our elderly residents.

• Maintain dietetic registration, government-required credentials, and continuing education requirements.
• Conduct patient nutrition assessments on a population of varying levels of acuity patients.
• Develop and implement plans for nutrition intervention in accordance with the Nutrition Care Process.
• Provide nutrition counseling for individuals and groups, taking into consideration any adaptations to teaching methods necessary to meet patient learning needs.
• Assess educational needs and the presence of barriers to learning.
• Evaluate achievement of learning objectives by the patient and/or family.
• Provide follow-ups in accordance with the patient's treatment goals, referring patients for outpatient counseling, community, or home health services as appropriate.
• Deliver strong operational performance by executing against Aramark Healthcare and regulatory agency standards and programs.
• Work cooperatively with medical staff and food and nutrition services staff to ensure conformance to prescribed nutrition care orders.
• Provide education that ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards.
• Maintain accurate record keeping of daily clinical activities, including information for scheduling and billing.

• Requires a bachelor's degree at an accredited institution with coursework accredited or approved by the appropriate nutrition and dietetics agencies.
• Earn and maintain applicable certifications, registrations, licenses, credentials, and continuing education requirements by the appropriate accredited local agencies.
• Formal eligibility to practice dietetics in the geographic location where applicable.
