Critical Care Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Physician to join our team at SCP Health. As an intensivist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our ICU setting. Our hospital is a Level IV Trauma Center with 132 hospital beds and 14 ICU beds. We have a closed ICU with a team of experienced nurses and physicians working together to provide exceptional care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to critically ill patients in our ICU setting
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in code blue and trauma activations
- Conduct daily rounds and communicate with the team to ensure seamless care
- Work closely with the hospitalist team to ensure smooth transitions of care
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Critical Care and Pulmonology
- At least 1 year of experience in Critical Care
- Active TX license and DEA
- Ability to work 1 week per month at this hospital and 1 week at San Marcos hospital
