Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team at Accounting Career Consultants. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the movement of assets, coordinating with departments and contractors, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surplus sales, including researching and developing specifications, determining solicitation methods, and managing online auction websites.
  • Serve as project manager and coordinate all moves and transfers of personnel, offices, classrooms, and related furnishings.
  • Keep accurate asset records in accordance with Board Policy and federal, state, and local law, tracking, recording, and updating assets using paper and computer records.
  • Reallocate excess assets throughout the community and determine when assets will be considered surplus property and available for sale.
  • Advise and provide asset inventory policies, procedures, and updates as needed.

Requirements:

  • An associate degree in business administration or accounting with one or more years related experience or a High School diploma with three or more years related work experience.
  • Experience in using ERP integrated Asset/Purchasing/General Ledger system (Colleague or similar).
  • Knowledge of MS Office software and related office equipment.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills, ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors.

Working Conditions:

  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
