We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a Technical Fellow for Performance Simulations, you will play a key role in developing high-fidelity performance simulations that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement high-fidelity performance simulations for missile systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop simulation models
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure simulation accuracy and reliability
- Conduct trade studies and evaluations to optimize simulation performance
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
- 12+ years of experience in modeling and simulation, with a focus on high-fidelity performance simulations
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, or other high-order languages
- Experience with UNIX/Linux-based workstations and simulation tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Recognized technical authority in modeling and simulation
- Experience with signal processing, guidance navigation and control, or hardware design and test
- Business development experience, including technical and cost proposal preparation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
