We believe that in order for schools to achieve academic success they need to first reach operational excellence. We help schools achieve the state of operational excellence by streamlining processes and procedures. We're a well-funded and growing company, and now we want to expand our team to support our implementation function.

About This Role

As an Implementation Strategist at Cariina, you will play a crucial role in our company's success, directly impacting the educational journey of students across the country. Reporting to the CTO/Co-Founder, this role requires a blend of change management expertise, technical proficiency, exceptional communication skills, and a deep commitment to improving educational outcomes. As more school districts join our platform, we require skilled professionals to ensure smooth and timely implementation of our software, maintaining high customer satisfaction and optimizing their operations.

Our post-sale department is split into two functions - implementation and success. This role is on the implementation side, acting as the main customer point of contact up until the account has successfully launched. Your primary responsibility will be to onboard client school districts, guiding them through the complexities of implementing Cariina's platform, and your primary KPI will be "speed to launch." This requires understanding the district's unique challenges, customizing solutions, and ensuring a seamless transition to our system, managing a portfolio of multiple customers at once. You will act as the bridge between Cariina and our clients, ensuring that our technology not only meets but exceeds their operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of client school districts to understand their current operational challenges and objectives.
  • Develop and execute detailed implementation strategies tailored to each school district's specific needs, ensuring a successful launch of the Cariina platform.
  • Identify key stakeholders within the school districts and work closely with them to secure buy-in, addressing any concerns or resistance to change.
  • Provide comprehensive training sessions for school district staff, ensuring they are fully equipped to utilize the platform effectively. Offer ongoing support to address any issues or questions that arise up until the client transitions to a success manager.
  • Become an expert in the Cariina platform.
  • Shape future product development based on trends in conversations with clients and communicating those needs to our Product team.
  • Maintain customer records and update project progress in our CRM.
  • Help make complex, technical concepts simple and digestible for our clients.
  • Travel as needed to meet with client school districts and ensure successful onboarding.

Requirements

  • Based in Boston (or willing to relocate)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as SaaS implementation, POS, account management, or solutions engineering.
  • High energy, ambition, and a commitment to providing customers with a white-glove experience.
  • Strong persuasion skills, with the ability to communicate convincingly and passionately.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Empathy and the capacity to appreciate and relate to a customer's perspective.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with experience managing timelines across multiple projects at various stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Ability to navigate complex challenges independently, creating solutions and strategies with minimal guidance.
  • Quick learner who can rapidly grasp new platforms and understand new industries.
  • Team-oriented, but also capable of thriving as an individual contributor.

What We Offer

  • Cash compensation range: $80,000 - $110,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans for you and your family.
  • Ownership in the company (stock options), aligning your success with the company's.
  • Any technology that you need to succeed (hardware, software, reading materials, etc).
  • Flexible vacation and sick days.
