About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to join our team at Performance Development Group. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for designing learning solutions that meet client needs and improve performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop learning solutions across all modalities, including e-learning, classroom training, and virtual instructor-led training.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and client project teams.
  • Present solution concepts and designs to senior-level business owners and L&D stakeholders.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and define the learning journey.
  • Oversee the quality of work completed by team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Systems Design, English, Journalism, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design, instructional technology, or training and corporate education.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a client-facing role.
  • 1+ year of experience working in a consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of Learning Experience Design (LxD) and visual design principles.
  • Experience working in the life sciences industries (pharma, biotech, or medical device) and/or designing sales performance solutions.
