We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Adult Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Pinewood Springs. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, efficient care.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to quality nursing care through process improvement techniques and multidisciplinary collaboration that demonstrates positive outcomes in the delivery of patient care.
- Manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintain and review patients' records including posting tests and examination results.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Incorporate knowledge of patient's age-specific development and cultural diversity into the plan of care.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse.
- Associate Degree.
Pinewood Springs is a joint venture mental health and wellness hospital operated by HCA Healthcare's Tristar Health and Maury Regional Medical Center. The hospital serves the mental health needs of both adolescent and adult patients.
