About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Converting Operator to join our team at Pregis. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our converting machines, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Safely operate converting machines to produce high-quality products.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet quality standards, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Production Planning: Meet or exceed production performance standards, and maintain accurate records of production data.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth shift transitions and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Three years of work history preferred.
  • Skills: Basic computer and math skills, ability to lift 30 lbs, and reliable transportation.
