Job Summary

The Project Manager II will oversee the organization, management, and planning of elevator and escalator new construction projects in the assigned territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a quality product in a timely manner and meeting or exceeding business plan gross profit objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control multiple projects from beginning to end in branch locations.
  • Ensure that all projects achieve the targeted profit goals and meet customers' expectations.
  • Conduct cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project, and prepare and implement a budget based on estimates.
  • Control the project schedule, direct material orders, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Scrutinize each completed project, identify lessons learned, and incorporate new knowledge into day-to-day operations.
  • Address customer questions, concerns, and complaints throughout the project.
  • Act as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience required.
  • 2 years of elevator industry experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and delegate when necessary.
Compensation

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $104,000 and $143,000/year, depending on individualized factors. The total compensation package may include commissions, incentive compensation, and discretionary awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
