Responsibilities
  • Examine damaged vehicles and develop efficient repair plans
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and quality repairs
  • Make informed decisions on repair vs. replace, considering safety, cost, and cycle time
  • Remove and replace vehicle components, including upholstery, accessories, and electrical systems
  • Participate in safety meetings and adhere to company protocols
  • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools
  • Supervise and train apprentices as needed
Qualifications
  • Certification in body repair is preferred
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair processes and manufacturer specifications
  • ICAR welding certification
  • Ability to analyze and interpret measuring data
  • Supervisory experience and strong communication skills
