ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Due to the nature of this role, associates will have access to guest areas and property, thus integrity and reliability are paramount. Candidates must successfully complete the necessary security protocols as per company regulations.
- A minimum of one year of supervisory experience managing at least three team members.
- Preferred background in chain food service and retail environments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Essential functions include the ability to perform significant physical activities: standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating effectively.
Specific requirements for this role include:
- Ability to push or pull 60 pounds and lift and/or carry 50 pounds.
- Capacity to stand for extended periods, bend, stretch, and reach.
- Ability to see and hear clearly.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
- Exhibit professionalism, integrity, and trustworthiness consistently.
Knowledge of:
- Operational standards set by LBA Hospitality and its brands.
- Supervisory practices including interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and performance documentation.
- Dining room arrangements for various guest needs.
- Menu items and their preparation and service.
- Local shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel information to assist guest inquiries.
- Daily hotel operations, including awareness of events, updates, and new procedures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the property, staff, services, hours of operation, room types, rates, and discounts.
- Ability to orient and train new associates.
- Capability to provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Proficient in using property management systems for billing and payment processing.
- Organizational skills to manage supplies and storage areas.
- Maintain a workspace that is always guest-ready.
- Effectively multitask while maintaining a focus on guest and associate service.
- Communicate effectively with both guests and team members.
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and a hospitable demeanor.
- Market and promote services to enhance visibility and sales.
- Foster a professional and cohesive team environment through hiring, training, coaching, and developing qualified individuals.
- Encourage positive morale and a friendly atmosphere.
- Complete administrative tasks efficiently, including scheduling, payroll, inventory management, and ordering.
- Operate within budgetary constraints to maximize revenue while adhering to labor models.
- Ensure safety and security protocols are followed, with a thorough understanding of emergency procedures.
- Deliver the highest quality products and services to guests.
- Familiarity with the Associate Handbook and adherence to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain certification from an approved responsible vendor training program.
- Perform other duties as assigned that align with the associate's capabilities.
This role requires standing and walking for extended periods while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, with availability required during weekends and holidays.
