Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Coordination: Assist project managers in planning, designing, and constructing projects, ensuring compliance with university policies, state and federal codes, and regulations.
- Technical Support: Provide analytical and administrative support to the campus project management team, including submittals, work plans, and schedules.
- Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and university staff, to ensure project success.
- Document Control and Management: Implement and maintain document control systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date project information.
- Project Review and Compliance: Conduct regular project reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field, with 1 year of experience supporting design/construction projects or 5 years of related experience/education.
- Critical Knowledge and Skills: Working knowledge of planning, design, and construction procedures, industry practices, and contract documents related to the design and construction industry.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proficient analytical, organizational, and problem recognition/avoidance/resolution skills.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Proven written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including well-developed political acumen.
