CMI Media Group is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our paid social media efforts as an Executive Director, Paid Social Media. This key role will oversee the development and execution of our paid social strategy, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and driving growth through innovative social media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior client teams, fostering advocacy for paid social media and CMI Media Group.
  • Lead cross-functional teams (SEM, programmatic, video, e-commerce) to drive channel learnings and campaign optimizations, ensuring seamless integration across activation teams.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, new social networks, and emerging toolsets, providing expert guidance to clients on leveraging social media for brand success.
  • Manage a team of paid social media leaders and individual contributors, mentoring them to become full-stack social media marketers.
  • Ensure the CMI Media Group social team utilizes best-in-class tools, staying at the forefront of market shifts and available technology.
  • Familiarize clients with regulated industries and the effective use of social media within these regulations.
  • Lead client education efforts, highlighting the value of social media and its potential to drive business results.
  • Stay current on social media use in the pharmaceutical space, specifically FDA regulations and processes.
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives related to social media on behalf of CMI Media Group.
  • Collaborate with creative and PR agencies to adjust messaging based on social analysis.
  • Analyze content promotion efforts using social analytics tools, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Develop innovative ways for clients to engage with their brands.
  • Motivate large teams, providing direction and opportunities for career growth and personal development.
  • 10+ years of social media experience, preferably in the healthcare space.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in marketing, business, or a quantitative/analytical field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, leadership presence, and PC proficiency.
  • Healthcare/pharmaceutical background a plus.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and supplier partners.
  • Proven ability to create measurable social media plans that contribute to clients' business goals.
  • Entrepreneurial skills and outlook.
  • Commercially oriented, confident, outgoing, articulate, and persuasive.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
