We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Handyman Connection of Austin, TX. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing and coordinating the cutting, shaping, and installation of building materials during construction, remodeling, or repair in a residential and light commercial setting.

Responsibilities
  • Constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of various types of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
  • Determining and identifying proper materials and material quantities for new and existing projects.
  • Evaluating customer requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting customer issues, and presenting a description of a work order to a customer.
Requirements
  • Current Driver's License and a clean background check.
  • Tools, vehicle, and good references.
  • Experience in the remodeling or home repair trades.
  • Passing a screening process.
  • Independent Contractors must carry liability insurance and workers' comp.
  • A smart phone and access to the internet.

Please note that we are looking for an experienced Carpenter with a positive attitude, and not a Project Manager or someone with primarily new construction experience.
