Position Overview:
Mad Science Group, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic and vibrant individuals to lead engaging after-school STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) programs focused on science and chess topics. This role is available during the Fall, Winter, and Spring semesters at various elementary schools. While a background in education is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite. This is a part-time opportunity requiring availability for 3 to 5 afternoons each week, with sessions lasting 2 hours per day.
Key Requirements:
- Availability for at least 3-5 afternoons weekly between 2 PM and 5 PM
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude towards teaching
- Experience working with children aged 5-12
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within a 15-mile radius
- Outgoing and engaging demeanor
A background in arts, sciences, teaching, chess, or Lego-building is advantageous but not mandatory.
