We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Psychiatric ICU team at Huntington Hospital. Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient care across the healthcare continuum, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Supervise and manage patient care utilizing critical thinking and nursing process, discharge planning, and resource identification.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and empowerment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of our healthcare services.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with completion of BSN within 2 years.
  • Minimum 1 year of current experience in acute care, with 2 years preferred.
  • Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
  • Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association.
