Armina Health is seeking a highly skilled Neurodiagnostic Specialist - EEG Technologist to join our team. As a Neurodiagnostic Specialist - EEG Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all patients receive timely and effective healthcare.
Key Responsibilities- Perform qEEG Recordings: Conduct qEEG recordings according to laboratory standards, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Write Patient Histories: Gather and document patient medical histories, including seizure types, date of last seizure, and other neurological symptomatology.
- Implement Alternative Methods: Adjust controls and use alternative methods to obtain optimal recordings, including extra electrodes, montages, and activation procedures.
- Recognize and Document Artifact: Identify and document patient or environmental artifacts, taking proper measures to monitor and eliminate them.
- Troubleshoot Equipment: Troubleshoot equipment problems and repair or report them to the supervisor promptly.
- Monitor Supplies: Order and maintain supplies, adhering to infection control and safety procedures.
- Adhere to Infection Control and Safety Procedures: Ensure the cleanliness and sterility of equipment and examination environments.
- Experience: At least 1 year of job-related experience, preferably in EEG.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Work Closely with Healthcare Providers: Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Schedule Appointments and Manage Patient Files: Schedule appointments, manage patient files, and maintain communication with all parties involved in patient care.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in Healthcare IT Systems: Proficiency in healthcare IT systems, including electronic health records (EHR).
- Ability to Manage Multiple Tasks: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
