EEG Technologist

Armina Health is seeking a highly skilled Neurodiagnostic Specialist - EEG Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all patients receive timely and effective healthcare.

• Perform qEEG recordings according to laboratory standards.
• Write patient histories, gathering relevant information from patients, including seizure types, date of last seizure, and other neurological symptomatology.
• Explain test procedures to patients and their family members.
• Implement alternative methods or adjust controls to obtain optimal recordings.
• Recognize and document artifacts, eliminating or taking proper measures to monitor them.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and report them to supervisors promptly.
• Monitor supplies and order as needed.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures, ensuring the cleanliness and sterility of equipment and examination environments.

• At least 1 year of job-related experience.
• Experience working in EEG.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work closely with healthcare providers to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in healthcare IT systems, including electronic health records (EHR).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care to underserved populations.
