Position Overview:
This role is vital for the effectiveness of our retail operations. Retail associates engage with both wholesale and retail clients to assess their requirements, respond to inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams products, and suggest suitable solutions. They are also responsible for swiftly addressing any customer issues to ensure optimal client satisfaction while keeping abreast of product features and maintaining the store's high-quality and visual standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through proficient sales techniques.
  • Assist customers both in-person and via phone by identifying their needs and offering relevant products and services.
  • Establish and nurture productive relationships with wholesale and retail clients.
  • Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Consistently meet and strive to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate work order documentation and formulas.
  • Retrieve appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
  • Tint and mix products according to customer specifications.
  • Restock shelves and arrange displays effectively.
  • Ensure cleanliness of store equipment.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
  • Support delivery operations as required.
  • Keep assigned areas in-stock and visually appealing.
  • Stay informed about product offerings and discuss available options with customers.
  • Adhere to inventory management protocols.
  • Propose strategies to enhance sales performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
  • Must possess legal authorization to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
  • Must be capable of retrieving materials from shelves and floor stacks and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be available to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Completion of at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Prior experience in selling paint and related products.
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in multiple languages.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in Spanish.
