Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and maintenance of HVAC geothermal systems is essential
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while troubleshooting, installing, and repairing water and heat pumps, as well as green energy systems
  • Experience with controls, Variable Air Volume (VAV), and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems is advantageous
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing commercial heating and cooling systems, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units (RTUs) up to 100 tons, and exhaust fans
  • Provide outstanding customer service through effective troubleshooting, problem-solving, and offering replacement recommendations for refrigeration and heating systems
  • Experience with geothermal systems and lead technician responsibilities is a plus
  • Work with screw chillers and low-temperature refrigeration for walk-in coolers/freezers
  • Maintain service schedules, perform preventive maintenance, and assist in the replacement of commercial rooftop units ranging from 5-30 tons and split systems
  • Troubleshoot and maintain package units, air handlers, cooling towers, boilers, hot water tanks, exhaust systems, split and mini-split systems, and furnaces
  • Understanding of low-voltage electrical wiring is beneficial

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience and a valid driver's license
  • Maine Gas License with Appliance Service Endorsement required
  • Journeyman Oil 1 & 2 license (up to 15 GPH) preferred but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of electrical controls is a plus
  • Experience with green energy or geothermal water-to-water and water-to-air heat pumps
  • Physical ability to climb, stand, walk, and lift up to 75 lbs, and access construction sites
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings, engineering, and building plans
  • Universal EPA certification required (NH Gas, MA Gas, MA Sheet Metal preferred)
  • High school diploma or GED
