Job Summary

Tenet-Alabama is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality Echocardiograms using established protocols to obtain accurate images.
  • Assist with Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and stress testing to support physician diagnosis.
  • Identify and implement interventions to address patient needs, including reporting critical values.
  • Set priorities for study completion based on patient acuity, preference, and coordination with nursing and ancillary services.
  • Provide EKG and Holter Services when workload permits, ensuring accurate lead placement and minimal artifact.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited CAAHEP or diagnostic medical sonography school, or at least 6 months of clinical experience.
  • Experience: 6 months in a clinical setting, with a preference for 2 years.
  • Certification: Registry eligible and BLS, with a preference for RDMS, RDCS, or RCS.
