Job Summary

Aequor Technologies is seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry unit. Your expertise will be invaluable in monitoring and managing patients with acute and chronic conditions, administering medications, and developing individualized care plans. Responsibilities

* Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry unit
* Monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall condition, using telemetry equipment to detect changes in cardiac status and respond promptly to emergencies
* Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments according to physician orders, ensuring proper dosage and monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions
* Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients, collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
* Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care, promoting patient involvement in their own health management
* Assist with wound care, catheterizations, and other medical procedures, adhering to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements

* Current RN state license in good standing
* Minimum of 2 years of experience working in medical-surgical and/or telemetry nursing
* Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
* Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms
* Strong clinical skills, with the ability to perform patient assessments and manage care plans in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team
* Organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation
* Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
