Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Frye Regional Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
  • Document patient care given and monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
