We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, and machinery in production processing areas using pressure cleaning and chemical dispensing equipment
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment to remove all remnants of products in machines and surrounding areas
  • Maintain necessary records and sanitation cleaning logs
  • Communicate potential issues, concerns, or risks with management to achieve resolution
  • Use proper precautions and protective gear to safely use a variety of chemicals during the cleaning and process
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with and/or cleaning equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude
