AmerCareRoyal is seeking a skilled Cutter Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for efficiently setting up, operating, and performing preventative maintenance on our cutter machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and adjust cutter equipment to meet manufacturing order requirements, following all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and Food Safety guidelines.
  • Product Quality: Manufacture product to size, appearance, count, and other requirements to ensure the product meets quality specifications.
  • Maintenance: Perform preventative and production maintenance for routine repairs using hand and power tools.
  • Communication: Understand and interpret production requirements by manufacturing orders and written/verbal instructions. Provide direction to Packers in the department as needed.
  • Work Organization: Organize work area in a clean and efficient manner to perform processes according to established standards, productivity levels, housekeeping, and safety requirements.
  • Reporting: Inform supervisor of operation deviations or mechanical problems when they occur.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school or trade school graduate or equivalent GED with 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent mechanical ability and manual dexterity. Ability to read and understand manufacturing orders and use common machine measuring equipment. Ability to follow and understand JHAs and GMP policies. Basic reading and math skills. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
