CNC Tube Bending Technician

Davis Aircraft Products is seeking a skilled CNC Tube Bending Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating complex machinery to bend tubes to precise specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and operate CNC machines to bend tubes according to print requirements and specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Start and monitor machine operations, recording operational data as needed.
  • Examine completed work pieces for defects and sort defective pieces according to type of flaw.
  • Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications using precision tools.

Secondary Operations:

  • Coordinate with suppliers for welding services.
  • Pressure test and clean/wipe tubing as required.
  • Assist with inspection of finished tubes.
  • Label and package tubes for shipping.

Requirements:

  • At least six months of directly related training and/or experience.
  • Mechanical, computer, and math aptitude a plus.
  • Must be a US citizen or lawful permanent resident (green card holder) due to ITAR and EAR regulations.
