Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Nephrology Unit at OU Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in focused assessments and reassessments of patients, collecting and recording objective and subjective data in a timely manner.
  • Assist in implementing the nursing plan of care, considering safety in practice and prioritizing patient needs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, sharing relevant information and supporting team decisions.
  • Provide care consistent with the American Nurses Association's Code of Ethics for Nurses and the assigned clinical area's Standards of Care and Professional Performance.
Requirements:
  • LPN degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current Oklahoma Board of Nursing LPN license or a current multi-state compact LPN license (eNLC).
  • Specific care environment certifications must be obtained within six months of hire.
  • One or more years of experience preferred.
