Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Nephrology Unit at OU Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in focused assessments and reassessments of patients, collecting and recording objective and subjective data in a timely manner.
- Assist in implementing the nursing plan of care, considering safety in practice and prioritizing patient needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, sharing relevant information and supporting team decisions.
- Provide care consistent with the American Nurses Association's Code of Ethics for Nurses and the assigned clinical area's Standards of Care and Professional Performance.
- LPN degree from an accredited institution.
- Current Oklahoma Board of Nursing LPN license or a current multi-state compact LPN license (eNLC).
- Specific care environment certifications must be obtained within six months of hire.
- One or more years of experience preferred.
