Position Summary:

The Project Operations Manager will oversee, coordinate, and strategize intricate projects related to the organization's research, development, and product deployment initiatives. This role will also involve regular updates to clients regarding the status of their projects.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs a cross-functional team to ensure project completion within deadlines, adhering to specifications and maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identifies project tasks and assigns them appropriately.
  • Conducts financial assessments, estimating anticipated costs for projects.
  • Develops and enforces a budget based on these estimates.
  • Performs risk evaluations; communicates identified risks to management; suggests strategies for risk mitigation (including project termination if necessary).
  • Addresses inquiries, concerns, and complaints throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Serves as a communication bridge between the organization, clients, and suppliers.
  • Collaborates with sales and marketing teams to provide necessary training and information to promote and sell new projects, programs, and systems.
  • Ensures adherence to federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and organizational regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Maintains budget compliance by monitoring expenditures and implementing cost-saving strategies.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience is essential.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or equivalent are highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and utilizing a computer.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally.
