Job Description

The Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa is seeking a skilled Steward to join our culinary team.

As a Steward, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. This includes sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning equipment, and ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain kitchen floors, equipment, and surfaces
  • Ensure all areas meet our high standards of quality and safety
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the Executive Chef
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Previous janitorial experience preferred
  • Ability to learn and apply Hazardous Chemical training standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
