Job Description

Hub & Spoke Diner in Salt Lake City is seeking a part-time host/hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged. The role requires working Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 3pm, with optional shifts on other days as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the lead host, assigning and seating guests
  • Answer phone calls and book reservations
  • Greet customers and make them feel welcome
  • Estimate wait times for guests
  • Train and lead other hosts

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a host is necessary
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively
  • Strong organizational and motivational skills
  • Able to remain calm under pressure

Available Shifts and Compensation:

Available shifts on Sundays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Compensation is $17.00/hour.
