Job Overview

Position Summary

TopView Sightseeing is seeking a skilled Boat Captain to oversee the safe navigation of our passenger vessels. The Captain will be entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for all guests while operating within the bustling waterways.

Compensation Package

  • Hourly Rate: $45-$50

Qualifications Required

  • Valid 100-ton USCG Masters License
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience operating passenger vessels
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR
  • TWIC Card
  • MROP Certification

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate vessels under various sea and weather conditions, including docking and navigating in busy harbors.
  • Conduct thorough pre-cruise inspections and briefings, ensuring crew members are informed of all necessary details.
  • Uphold safety standards and protocols for both staff and guests.
  • Adhere to Coast Guard regulations and all relevant local and federal laws.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Work Schedule:

  • 5 years of experience with twin screw propulsion (Required)
  • 5 years of experience with USCG inspections (Preferred)
  • 1 year of vessel operation experience (Required)

License/Certification:
