At Sea Mar Community Health Centers, we are dedicated to providing high-quality care to individuals struggling with substance use disorder. We are currently seeking a skilled Group Life Counselor I to join our team in Bellingham, Washington.

About the Role

This full-time position is part of our multi-disciplinary treatment team, responsible for providing direct services to patients in a residential setting. As a Group Life Counselor I, you will work closely with patients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, promoting recovery and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct group and individual counseling sessions to address substance use disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to patient needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • AA in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services or related field
  • At least one year of experience working with high-risk or treatment patients
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
