Behavioral Health Therapist Position for Children with Autism

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Soar Autism Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary clinic, you will provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children aged 2-6 in a play-based environment.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering ABA therapy sessions to children in both English and Spanish, fostering a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
- Collaborating with our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement personalized intervention plans that align with the principles of ABA therapy.
- Providing bilingual support during family meetings, ensuring seamless communication and facilitating strong relationships with families.
- Engaging in ongoing training and development to stay updated on advancements in ABA therapy and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to pass a proficiency test for additional compensation.
- A strong preference for enrollment in or completion of a degree program, particularly in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields.
- The ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification, which we will provide through paid training.
- Previous experience working with children and a passion for helping them reach their full potential.
- Reliable transportation to both training locations and the local center, with a focus on punctuality.
- The physical ability to sit, stand, and move frequently throughout the day, as well as lift up to 50 pounds and engage in activities requiring quick movement.
