Key Responsibilities:
- Follow provided instructions for cleaning tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, including restrooms.
- Utilize power cleaning tools such as floor sweepers, polishers, and vacuum cleaners, along with manual tools like brooms and shovels.
- Sort and dispose of various waste materials, compress paper for recycling, and transport refuse to designated disposal areas.
- Perform floor maintenance including scrubbing, mopping, and polishing.
- Sanitize drinking fountains, wash basins, and restrooms, ensuring supplies are replenished as needed.
- Dust and vacuum furniture, and polish metal surfaces as required.
- Ensure lighting and electrical equipment are turned off as directed.
- Report any unusual equipment or operational issues to the supervisor.
- Employ hand tools and power cleaning devices effectively.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a tidy work environment.
- Engage in additional related tasks as assigned.
- Complete training and certification for powered walkie operation.
- Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment, including rider scrubbers and grinders.
- Lift items weighing up to 35 lbs as necessary.
- Assist with minor drywall repairs and painting tasks.
- Demonstrate computer proficiency, particularly with web-based ordering systems.
- Operate baling equipment and manage the recycling of cardboard.
- Be available for potential second shift or split week schedules.
- Utilize basic plumbing tools for cleanup tasks.
- Conduct carpet cleaning as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Safety glasses

- Steel-toe boots and/or ESD equipment
- Gloves
