Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Wellness Coordinator to join our team at New Communities Inc. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with seniors in a caring and inclusive environment.

Job Description

The Wellness Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that residents participate in scheduled and coordinated wellness programs. This includes active participation in the resident assessment process and the development of resident goals. The successful candidate will maintain a balance of wellness activities that enrich the physical, emotional, spiritual, social, intellectual, and vocational aspects of all residents.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement wellness programs for residents
  • Conduct resident assessments and develop individualized plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure resident needs are met
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • At least three to five years experience working with the disabled/elderly population required
  • Current driver's license and clean driving record required
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation or related field preferred
