Howard University Hospital is seeking an accomplished CT Technologist to join our esteemed radiology team. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can deliver exceptional imaging services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and diagnostic accuracy.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced technologist to work closely with our multidisciplinary team, utilizing advanced imaging technologies to provide precise diagnoses and inform treatment decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-quality CT scans, adhering to ALARA principles and optimizing image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Assess patient information, identifying potential contraindications and selecting appropriate imaging protocols.
  • Demonstrate expertise in using safety devices on equipment, prioritizing patient and technologist safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and seamless communication.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from a certified ARRT program.
  • No less than two years' experience as a registered CT technologist.
  • Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and advanced certification in CT.
  • BLS/AHA certification.
