Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals for residents in a consistent manner alongside other culinary team members.
  • Maintain a sanitary work environment throughout the facility.
  • Assist in all facets of the culinary team, including meal preparation, cooking, serving, cleaning, dishwashing, and more.
  • Comply with State and Federal regulations for long-term care facilities.
Qualifications:
  • Previous cooking experience in a similar environment (preferred) or in a restaurant setting.
  • Ability to establish rapport with residents and work comfortably with them.
  • Compassionate and caring attitude.
  • Familiarity with Culinary Services in long-term care or healthcare settings is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation starts at $17.56-$19.56 per hour, which includes shift and weekend differentials. Availability for both shifts: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., as well as every weekend, is required.
