Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Manufacturing Technology Instructor to join our team at the South Orange County Community College District. As a part-time faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach and mentor students in a dynamic and diverse learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in manufacturing technology, including lectures, labs, and discussions.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with industry standards and college goals.
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in department meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as manufacturing technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • Two years of professional experience in manufacturing technology or a related field.
  • Commitment to equity and diversity, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
