Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Specialist to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our nutrition care team, you will provide high-quality nutrition care to our patients and residents, working closely with our Registered Dietitian to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nutrition care to patients and residents, utilizing protective gear as needed
  • Conduct resident interviews, collect data, and provide education on general principles of nutrition
  • Work effectively with others to ensure quality nutritional services are provided daily
  • Act as a resource to the Director of Dining Services to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary dining environment
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in nutrition/dietetics from an accredited college or university
  • Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
  • 1-3 years of dietary experience in long-term care, either as a consultant or in a supervisory capacity
  • Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification, as required by State/County law
  • Ability to follow time schedules for meal preparation and serving, maintain a neat and clean appearance, and interact positively with residents, clients, and other personnel
