About the Role:
HDR is seeking a Senior Construction Materials Specialist to join our Construction Services Group in South Florida. This position is vital for supporting various construction initiatives and ensuring the integrity of materials used in projects.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collect and analyze data related to construction materials.
2. Assist section leaders in research efforts.
3. Support ongoing construction projects by gathering relevant materials data.
4. Supervise the activities of fellow data analysts.
5. Conduct quality checks on deliverables and processes.
6. Perform additional duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Familiarity with construction plans and FDOT project specifications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a professional team.
- Proficient in organizing data and generating reports in collaboration with project controls.
- Knowledge of construction materials and inspection practices for roadway and bridge projects.
- Understanding of necessary FDOT software applications.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience related to contracts; advanced degrees or certifications may substitute for experience.
- In-depth knowledge of contracting principles and compliance with company and client standards.
- Professional, self-driven, and detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Capability to work autonomously and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in advanced Excel functionalities.
- Strong writing, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
