Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Sales Floor Lead at Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity is tasked with overseeing the organization and presentation of merchandise within the retail space. This role involves pricing items, managing donations, and delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the mission of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and display various store sections, including furniture and home essentials.
  • Support team members with inquiries and tasks, ensuring optimal productivity.
  • Sort, price, and prepare donations for sale, including the handling of larger items.
  • Assist customers in transporting their purchases to their vehicles.
  • Collaborate with truck drivers to unload incoming donations.
  • Welcome donors and customers, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Oversee the opening and closing operations of the store.
  • Facilitate basic training for volunteers and communicate any issues to management.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in retail, with a preference for supervisory roles.
  • A high school diploma is preferred.
