Position Summary:

As a full-time GM Service Technician, your primary responsibility will be to diagnose, repair, and maintain GM vehicles. You will operate in a dynamic setting, managing tasks ranging from routine maintenance to intricate mechanical and electrical repairs. Your skills will guarantee that our customers' vehicles receive efficient service adhering to the highest standards. This role entails a commitment of 45 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with various shift options available. Overtime may be offered but is not mandatory.

Key Duties:

  • Execute diagnostic assessments to determine the underlying causes of vehicle problems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Repair and replace components such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Utilize specialized GM diagnostic equipment and software for precise repairs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while servicing vehicles.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by clearly communicating vehicle issues and necessary repairs.
  • Maintain thorough records of services performed and parts utilized.
  • Stay informed about the latest GM technical bulletins and service updates.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably with a focus on GM vehicles.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
