Responsibilities- Provide Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, and provide nursing care as needed.
- Document Patient Information: Perform and document rounds of patients receiving medical or psychiatric care, and report changes in patients' conditions to the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Assist with Specimen Collection: Obtain specimens for diagnostic testing and prepare documentation for patient transfers to other facilities or special appointments.
- Support Healthcare Team: Assist other non-custody staff in providing patient care, and manage inventory, ordering, and checking supplies.
- Valid Nursing Assistant Certificate: Possess a valid and active Nursing Assistant Certificate (CNA) issued by the State of California.
- Experience and Certification: Have at least 12 consecutive months of performing similar services within the last 3 years, and hold BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (with AED).
- Language Proficiency: Be proficient in the English Language (Speaking/Writing).
