Banner Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in El Mirage, Arizona. As a Surgical Stepdown RN, you will be part of an exceptional team that provides care for cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical patients.
Job Summary:This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of skill and expertise. As a Surgical Stepdown RN, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with complex medical needs.
Responsibilities:- Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care that address patient-specific needs and goals.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Current, valid RN license in the state of Arizona.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum one year of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in a surgical or cardiovascular unit.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
