Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Instructor to teach courses in Philosophy at DePaul University. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Philosophy or a related field, at least one year of previous teaching experience, and demonstrated experience in working in a diverse learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach courses in Philosophy, including Introduction to Philosophy, Introduction to Asian Philosophy, Ethics, Applied Ethics, and Philosophy and Multiculturalism
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and improve teaching practices
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Philosophy or a related field
- At least one year of previous teaching experience
- Demonstrated experience in working in a diverse learning environment
