Griffin Health is a 160-bed acute care community hospital serving over 100,000 residents of the Lower Naugatuck Valley Region. We are actively seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our outstanding organization and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional patient care.
About the RoleThe Outpatient Psychiatrist will provide direct clinical services and clinical supervision in the Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic and the Intensive Outpatient Programs. This role requires collaboration with the Chair of Psychiatric Services and the Director of Psychiatric Services to organize and coordinate with interdisciplinary behavioral services staff, including RNs, APRNs, Licensed Social Workers, and Counselor and Front Office Support Staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct clinical services and clinical supervision in the Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic and the Intensive Outpatient Programs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary behavioral services staff to ensure seamless care delivery
- Teach medical students and residents as part of our commitment to education and training
- Must be board certified or eligible
