Job Summary:

The Staff RN Private Duty will provide direct and indirect nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes, based on the Physician Plan of Treatment and the nursing care plan. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and developmental needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' unique needs
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Monitor patients' responses to care and make adjustments as needed
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience, preferably in pediatric care
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Nebraska or compact state licensure
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
  • PEARS or PALS certification within 180 days of hire
