Job Title: Pediatric LPN - Private Duty Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our team as a Private Duty LPN. In this role, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes, under the direction of an RN. You will work independently, making decisions based on the Physician Plan of Treatment and nursing care plan.

Responsibilities:

* Provide direct and indirect nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes, under the direction of an RN.
* Administer cares and treatments according to physician orders, nursing care plan, and policies.
* Monitor and document patient response to pain, cares, treatments, and medications.
* Implement nursing actions as directed by the RN, incorporating patient and caregiver preferences into care.
* Provide ongoing education to patients and caregivers, using an individualized approach.

Requirements:

* Graduate from an accredited school or university as an LPN.
* Minimum one year LPN experience.
* Experience with pediatric patients preferred.
* Experience in the home care environment preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

* LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Current and valid Nebraska LPN license/LPN Compact License.
* BCLS - Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association.
* PEARS - Peds Emergency Assessment within 180 Days.
* PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support if incumbent holds another position within Children's where PALS is required.
