Job Summary

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to lead our tax and accounting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing accounting, tax return preparation, tax planning, and business planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of accounting, tax return preparation, tax planning, and business planning
  • Supervise staff members, review completed work, and manage client relationships
  • Ensure the timeliness, quality, and accuracy of all work product and provide exceptional value for clients
  • Supervise, lead, and develop assigned staff
  • Oversight of client accounting, tax return preparation, and tax planning
  • Review prepared Financial Statements, prepared tax returns and other tax filings to ensure accuracy
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
  • Prepare complex individual and corporate tax returns
  • Research and solve complicated tax issues
  • Conduct critical conversations with clients regarding billing and invoices
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation
  • Maintain confidentiality with personal and sensitive data
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business accounting, finance, or related field
  • 4+ years of tax and accounting experience in a CPA firm
  • Prior experience at the senior or manager-level
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams and multiple projects
